Jill Scott album and UK datesGrammy Award-winning Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter Jill Scott releases her third album, 'The Real Thing: Words & Sounds Volume 3' on October 29, through Hidden Beach Records.
Featuring production work by Scott Storch (DMX, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Ja Rule), Jill?s musical director Adam Blackstone (The Roots), Carvin 'Ransum' Haggins & Ivan 'Orthodox' Barias (Musiq Soulchild, Chris Brown, Mario) and JR Hutson among others, the 'The Real Thing' is edgier than Jill?s last album, 2004?s Grammy-winning 'Beautifully Human,' Words & Sounds, Vol. 2.
And as if the music career isn?t enough, look out for Jill in two big movies: the forthcoming 'Why Did I Get Married' (US release Oct 12th), which co-stars Tyler Perry, Sharon Leal and Janet Jackson; and Anthony Minghella?s adaptation of classic novel 'The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency', co-starring Idris Elba and Anika Noni Rose, released next year.

Queens Of The Stone Age are to play a tiny gig in London tomorrow night (May 2).
The band will squeeze into the 100 Club on Oxford Street for the gig which will see them showcase new album 'Era Vulgaris' live in the UK for the first time.
